University of Virginia astronomer Edward Murphy joins Coy Barefoot to explore the recent historic announcement that NASA’s Kepler Mission had more than doubled the number of earths-sized planets it had discovered in habitable zones around their own suns. Discoveries such as this continue to increase the odds that life exists beyond earth. Dr. Murphy also details the most likely places to find evidence of life here in our own solar system on the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. He also has the latest on the fascinating discoveries by the Mars rovers.
